Dear Players,

As the primary and on-going author of OfficeDebo I would like to share some of my thoughts, experiences and where OfficeDebo is headed in time.

When OfficeDebo (v2) was in it's prime, I believe I was doing "most" things right. Everyone was happy with changes I was able to make, and things were buzzing. People were chatting, playing, fighting, but generally always having a lot of fun.

There came a time during this prime time, where I decided to make a positive move for OfficeDebo, where I quit my very luxurious and high paying software development role, to work on OfficeDebo full time, in the hopes to make OfficeDebo that much more fantastic of a place to play.

Naturally, having put my lively-hood, reputation, relationship, etc. on the line, I was very shocked to find the month after I announced my resignation and acceptance to work on OfficeDebo full time, that this buzzing community, at a rate of approx 70%, dropped it's support immediately.

I am still unaware as to why / how this came about, because it really is very strange. However, naturally this has adversely effected my lively-hood.

Eight months later now, I am staring down the barrel of a dead community. There have been many desperate attempts to re-energize OfficeDebo, but they have all failed miserably.

OfficeDebo (v2) has now officially ended it's development age. It's far from perfect, I admit, but it was also built many years ago, by two learning software engineers, and was primarily built only as a learning exercise.

It is my intent, and I have begun work, on a new version of OfficeDebo. OfficeDebo (v3) is currently in development, and will be released sometime soon, in the future. Some participants of OfficeDebo (v2) will be chosen, when the time comes, to BETA test OfficeDebo (v3).

OfficeDebo (v3) will boast a far superior game-play, complete with all items, professions, and balances perfectly in-place. It will also boast the much talked about "Cubicle Wars", which has been out of development for a few weeks now, but I have decided to release this with OfficeDebo (v3).

I hope this makes sense to you all. I will be leaving OfficeDebo (v2) open, up until the launch date of OfficeDebo (v3). You can keep playing, chatting, etc. all you like, and prizes WILL be awarded as the round end, when OfficeDebo (v3) is opened up to the public.
